The purpose of the PRINCE2® 7th Edition Foundation training program is to equip participants with a fundamental grasp of modern project management, by diving deep into the PRINCE2® project management method. It also aims to assist participants in their preparation for the PRINCE2® Foundation examination, which includes a web proctored exam voucher as part of the course fee.

This course is aligned with the 7th Edition syllabus by PeopleCert, with continued focus on the traditional challenges of project management, and awareness for today’s environment in which projects are conducted, with a people-centric approach and new project management approaches (Change Management Approach, Commercial Management Approach, Sustainability Management Approach and Data Management Approach).

The course delves into the PRINCE2® framework, its practical application in real-world projects and the Foundation Exam.

Due to the generic nature of this course, it is also suitable for general managers, staff in a supporting role, and those who wish to gain formal recognition of their skills by taking the PRINCE2® foundation examination or professionals who are looking for generic fundamental project management skills.

Students are explained how the model is set up, how the different project activities and project roles are connected and how PRINCE2® handles exceptions and changes that always occur in a project. During the training, participants will learn how to set up a project management organization that is responsible for managing and planning a project. Participants will be taught how to define the different project management roles to ensure that the project is executed in the most effective and efficient manner. The method of “managing by exceptions” will play a key role in handling project issues.
